The Kentucky Music Hall of Fame and Museum is a wonderful destination with many activities for each visitor.  Take a self-guided tour of our impressive museum highlighting Kentucky’s musical heritage and artifacts dating back to the early 1700s.  Short films and interactive displays guarantee a fun-filled experience for all ages.  Admission is $10.00 with special rates for seniors, groups and children. Be sure to stop in our gift shop on your way out.

For the traveler, we have large picnic areas that are equipped with charcoal grills and a visitor center with vending, restrooms and area attraction information.  We are open 7 days a week, 10:00 AM- 5:00 PM (closed some holidays). 

Individuals & Families

The Kentucky Music Hall of Fame and Museum is a wonderful destination with many activities for each visitor. We have an extensive museum filled with Kentucky’s musical heritage and artifacts dating all the way back to the early 1700s, large picnic areas equipped with charcoal grills that are free to use and the visitor information center for Rockcastle County that is located in our lobby.

School Groups

With a vast collection of artifacts and an interactive learning room, the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame is a destination for school groups of any age. All school tours are guided with an educational presentation to start the tour. One chaperone per ten children is required.

Groups & Tours

The Kentucky Music Hall of Fame offers a group and tour experience that is unique and entertaining.  Each tour consists of a short presentation outlining the history of the facility, a sampling of Kentucky music performed by the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame staff and a self-guided tour of the exhibits.   Group rates are available with complimentary driver and escort tickets.  We can also book your visit to the BitterSweet Cabin Village, an outdoor museum highlighting Appalachian history and handmade craft items.
