Introducing the 2022 Kentucky Music Hall of Fame & Museum’s Artist in Residence – Sydney Adams! Sydney’s roots are deep in southeastern Kentucky and has been influenced in all genres of music, including country, blues, R&B, Americana, and bluegrass. The singer-songwriter has been gaining attention over the years through her albums. Her latest album, “A Lot Like You,” was just recently released and can be purchased at her shows or on her website, www.sydneyadamsmusic.com.
Sydney Adams is one of those talented singer-songwriters that has a gift unlike many others yearning to be a performer. The Corbin, Kentucky native has been performing since she was 12 years old. She enrolled in the Hazard Community Technical College’s Kentucky School of Bluegrass and Traditional Music, being instructed by some of Kentucky’s finest musicians including KY Music Hall of Famer Bobby Osborne.
As part of the Artist in Residence program, Sydney Adams will be performing at the Kentucky Food Truck Championship on September 10th, as well as the KY Music Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies. She will also perform throughout the year at the Hall of Fame and represent us while out on the road for her performances.
Be sure to check out Sydney’s social media pages and stay tune as we will release the dates as to when you can see her here at the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame and Museum!
